The Jaguar F-PACE has a brave and bold new exterior, contemporary crafted all-new interior, latest generation Pivi Pro infotainment and the choice of in-line four- and six-cylinder engines including PHEV technology, the new Jaguar F-PACE is more luxurious, connected and efficient.
The new exterior design gives the award-winning F-PACE performance SUV a neater, more confident presence, presenting a new sculpted bonnet with a wider power bulge and slicker, more defined surfaces. The brand new bonnet and the larger grille features Jaguar’s traditional and infamous logo-inspired ‘diamond’ detailing, while the side fender vents now feature the iconic Leaper emblem. The new front bumper with redesigned air intakes and dark mesh details visually broaden the new F-PACE for a more solid and dynamic look.
This F-Pace also features new super slim all-LED quad headlights with ‘Double J’ Daytime Running Light (DRL) signatures, which are available with optional Pixel LED technology, and you will also find Adaptive Driving Beam capability, the system can also make varying light beam patterns by selecting different LED segments to optimise visibility without the risk of distracting other motorists another feature to do this would be the premium LED tegnology namely High Beam Assist found on the SE and HSE models.
At the rear, new slimline lights feature Jaguar’s double chicane graphic. The new bumper design and shaped new tailgate also add a certain visual characteristic and offer a more poised look as well. All models are available with the additional Black Exterior Pack, which brings an even more vibrant appearance with bespoke elements finished in Gloss Black.
All-new, crafted interior
The F-PACE has an all-new interior means serious refinement. The new cockpit design is focus solely on the driver. The new sporty centre console, sweeps evenly up to the instrument panel and includes a wireless charger and better console stowage.
The interior also has a centrally-mounted 11.4-inch curved-glass HD touchscreen in an sophisticated magnesium alloy casing, which controls the new Pivi Pro infotainment system. Genuine finishes, including open-pore wood veneers and aluminium, feature in gorgeously formed shapes such as the upper door insert and full width ‘Piano lid’ that is formed across the width of the instrument panel. Laser-etched mid-line speaker frets and the metallic rotary dial of the JaguarDrive Control epitomise the attention-to-detail.

The new Drive Selector has an upper section finished with ‘cricket-ball’ stitching, the lower part being made of precision-engineered metal for improved tactility.
The brand new door casings, now have a new 360-degree grab handle, provide easier access and bigger storage. The seats have wider cushioning and new exciting massage functions and much more coverage of the heated and cooling areas. An embossed Jaguar Leaper can be found on all occupant headrests on selected models, while a set of ‘Est.1935 Jaguar Coventry’ upholstery tags highlight the brand’s heritage.
Cabin Air Ionisation enhance the interior air quality through Nanoe technology, which eliminate allergens and unpleasant odours. The system now also features PM2.5 filtration, which captures ultra-fine particles – including PM2.5 particulates – to increase occupant health and wellbeing. You can activate the system by pressing the ‘Purify’ button.
Plug-in power and performance
This contemporary new F-PACE is available with the P400e PHEV powertrain as well as the latest four-cylinder and new in-line six-cylinder diesel Ingenium engines. All F-PACE models feature intelligent all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmissions.
The new engine line-up in South Africa includes:
- 147kW 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo, eight-speed automatic, AWD
- 221kW 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo, eight-speed automatic, AWD
- 184kW 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo, eight-speed automatic, AWD
- 297kW PHEV 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo, eight-speed automatic, AWD
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder PHEV model produces an impressive 297kW of power and 640Nm of torque from its petrol engine and 76kW electric motor and reaches 0-100km/h in only 5.3 seconds
When fully charged, the new P400e is able to deliver 53km of all-electric driving, enabling the new F-PACE PHEV to deliver the average daily commute, to and from work in EV mode without the need to recharge
An enhanced 147kW 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine is also availubale in the line-up, while an in-line six cylinder diesel produces 221kW of power and 700Nm of torque while also reaching 0-100km/h in a shocking 6.4 seconds. Finally, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine produces 184kW of power and 365Nm of torque, and reaches 0-100km/h in a reasonable 7.3 seconds.
Intelligent Driveline Dynamics gives rear-wheel drive increased performance, with the ability to vary torque to individual axles almost instantly depending on conditions.
The new F-PACE chassis has also been updated to carry the new electrified engines and also enables the latest JaguarDrive Control and new Auto Vehicle Hold.
The newest JaguarDrive Control include the fillowing modes; Comfort, Eco, Rain-Ice-Snow and Dynamic, which can be selected manually by the driver based on the certain road conditions. The settings, selected through a new rotary dial next to the all-new Drive Selector, adjusts the F-PACE’s steering, transmission, throttle and (when specified) Adaptive Dynamics settings.
Auto Vehicle Hold provides better convenience and slicker operation than conventional Automatic Hill Hold. The new technology holds the brakes for an unlimited period when stationary on a gradient, gently releasing the brakes only when the driver depresses the accelerator to drive away.
Cutting-edge connected technologies
The new F-PACE features Jaguar’s advanced Electronic Vehicle design, dubbed EVA 2.0, which supports a range of new nifty technologies to offer the future-ready vehicle is always connected and always up to date.
The latest Pivi Pro infotainment technology is accessed through the all-new 11.4-inch curved glass HD touchscreen, the easy to use menu grants the driver to access or view up to 90 per cent of regularly used tasks from the homescreen in less than two taps.
The latest Head-up Display technology, new F-PACE grants the driver all the information they need without diversion of the road ahead.
The intuitive new infotainment also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. To enable instantaneous start-up, Pivi Pro has a dedicated power source, so you can use it the minute the driver gets behind the wheel. The collection of new accessible technologies includes Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) capability, and means that owners don’t have to visit retailers to receive software updates for the vehicle.
Pivi Pro connectivity is provided by the latest embedded dual-sim technology with two LTE modems and mean that the diver can streaming media and downloading SOTA updates, without bargaining on the vehicles performance.
Segment-first Active Road Noise Cancellation technology remove undesired noise heard by the occupants for a better and quieter driving experience. The lightweight technology promise that the vehicle weight and handling characteristics remain unaffected. Engine Noise Cancellation also futher remove unwanted noise inside the cabin.
The new F-PACE also benefits from the latest generation of driver assistance technology. This includes Clear Exit Monitor, which notify both front and rear passengers to the presence of an approaching vehicle or cyclist when they exit the vehicle. Adaptive Cruise Control automatically maintains a set distance from the vehicle in front.
Jaguar’s latest 3D Surround Camera technology offer advanced 3D functionality using the latest camera technology to offer more detail and a choice of real-time viewing when manoeuvring the vehicle around. The selection of settings include Junction View, 3D Perspective View, and ClearSight Plan View.
Jaguar’s promise to creating study, solid and lightweight vehicles, continues with the new
F-PACE. The aluminium-intensive design uses recycled aluminium from closed-loop manufacturing for superior sustainability and is an important contribution towards Jaguar’s journey to Destination Zero, a world of zero emissions, zero accidents and zero congestion.
Customers can now choose from S, SE R-DYNAMIC and HSE R-DYNAMIC trim levels. Also optional on all models is the Black Exterior Pack. The new Jaguar
